About Hamdon Industries

HAMDON INDUSTRIES INCORPORATED was established in 1986 by the owners of the company Don and Ann Platz. Don Platz was one of the original founding members of the Michigan chapter of the national vibration institue. After working in the industry since 1968 Don Platz established numerous relationships throughout the years with his customers. He decided he would build his company from the ground up utilizing an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated staff of personnel looking for the same goal: To provide the industry with the highest level of experience, knowledge, and customer service that was needed; To provide the highest quality of dynamic and static balancing along with vibration analysis to offer the customer a well rounded package. We at Hamdon Industries specialize in the balancing and analysis of any rotating equipment, whether it be a small prototype part or a large production run, Hamdon Industries can provide the customer with any service that is needed.

Laser Alignment

Vibration analysis is utilized as an accurate method of finding existing problems as well as trim balancing of the spindle to acceptable specifications.

Virtually any part from an ounce in weight up to 5000 lbs. can be effectuvely balanced to meet and exceed most balancing tolerances.

Laser alignments can be performed onsite at your plant or your customer’s facilitiy. We can perform alignments on many components.
